  1. Write your name on your Checklist for Writing, FORM 6.
  2. Use this form to help yourself find basic mistakes.
  3. Read each item on the left side.
  4. If, in your paper, you had correctly done an item, mark a large dot on the line to the left of it.
  5. If not, make needed corrections in your report and mark a large X on the line.Count the X and dot marks, and write the totals.
  6. Add the three section scores and write your total in the upper-right SCORE box.
  7. Count all your X marks and write your total corrections in the upper SQUARE box.
  8. They show how you helped yourself improve.
  9. Write one or two words that give you spelling problems.
  10. Write clues to help yourself spell them.
  11. Put this FORM 6 faced down and under your report.
  12. Your report will be displayed without being covered by forms and comments.
  13. This form can be viewed by simply turning over your report.
