Number Notes Sensibly - Example

• On my desk I laid my three TOPIC note stacks in the order I listed them on my TOPIC OUTLINE.
• I began with my TOPIC I notes.
• I read the 6 notes; I arranged them in an order to make sense, and I numbered them in the circles.
• On my TOPIC OUTLINE, I wrote note numbers 1-6 in the center TOPIC I bubble, and I wrote number 7 in the center TOPIC II bubble.
• I turned my TOPIC I note stack faced down and set it aside on my desk.
• Then I spread out my TOPIC II notes. I read them, arranged them, and continued numbering them, 7-12.
• In my TOPIC II bubble I wrote 7-12, and in my TOPIC III bubble I wrote 13.
• I turned this TOPIC II stack faced down, and I criss-crossed it on my first stack.
• I arranged and numbered my TOPIC III notes, and I wrote note numbers 13-15 on my TOPIC OUTLINE.
• I turned this third stack faced down, and I criss-crossed it on my TOPIC I and TOPIC II stacks.
