  • I held two notes side by side and asked, “Related or unrelated?”
  • When the notes were related, I put them together.
  • I named the first one with a TOPIC, and I named the second note with the TOPIC's INITIAL.
  • Then I slipped the initialed TOPIC under the named TOPIC.
  • When the notes were unrelated, I set them apart to be in separate TOPIC stacks.
  • My first few loon notes grouped into two TOPICS: Family and Homes.
  • My Food note will be alone until I find more notes to go with it.
  • I might use topics from my Form 1, TOPIC WEB, but not necessarily.
