  1. Pick up your TOPIC I stack of notes.
  2. Spread them out so you can read each note.
  3. Choose your first note. Print a 1 in its circle.
  4. Arrange all your TOPIC I notes in an order that makes sense.
  5. Then number them in their circles.
  6. On your Topic Outline, FORM 4 write the note numbers in the TOPIC I bubble.
  7. Turn your Topic I stack faced down.
  8. In the Topic II bubble, write the next note number.
  9. Arrange your TOPIC II notes in a sensible order.
  10. Continue numbering them.
  11. On your Topic Outline, in the TOPIC II and III bubbles, write the last TOPIC II and the first TOPIC III numbers.
  12. Turn your TOPIC II note stack faced down, and criss-crossed over your Topic I note stack.
  13. Arrange your TOPIC III notes.
  14. Number them.
  15. Write the first and last numbers in the TOPIC III bubble on your Topic Outline.
  16. Turn this TOPIC III stack faced down, and criss-crossed over your TOPICS I and II stacks.
