Sort Notes into Subtopics - Task

  1. Now you can sort your TOPIC notes into SUBTOPICS.
  2. Begin with your TOPIC I notes on your Topic Outline, FORM 5.
  3. Sort notes into two or more SUBTOPIC stacks.
  4. Each SUBTOPIC stack will usually have two or more note cards, but it can have only one card.
  5. If you have at least 2 SUBTOPICS in a TOPIC, write them on each TOPIC I note card.
  6. Arrange the SUBTOPICS in a sensible order.
  7. Write them on the lines for SUBTOPICS A, B, C, and D.
  8. Turn your TOPIC I notes faced down.Repeat this procedure with notes in all your TOPICS.
  9. When you finish sorting a TOPIC's notes, turn the TOPIC stack faced down and criss-cross it over other faced-down TOPIC stacks.
