Sort Notes into Subtopics - Explanation

  • We sort each TOPIC's notes into smaller SUBTOPICS.
  • On our Topic Outline, FORM 5,  each TOPIC can have 2 or more SUBTOPICS, beginning with A and  B.
  • We begin with our TOPIC I.
  • We hold the first note next to the second note, and we ask, “Related or unrelated?”
  • When notes are related, we put them together and name them on their SUBTOPIC lines.
  • We can have no SUBTOPICS, or we can have 2 or more SUBTOPICS.
  • A SUBTOPIC can have one or more notes.
  • We arrange our SUBTOPICS in a sensible order, and we write them on ABC lines of our Topic Outline, FORM 5.
