1. Write your name on your Checklist for Writing, FORM 7.
2. Use this form to help yourself find basic mistakes.
3. Read each item along the left side.
4. If you had done an item correctly, put a large dot on the line to the left of it.
5. If not, make corrections in your report and mark a large X on that line.
6. Count the X and dot marks; write the totals.
7. Add the three section scores and write your total in the upper-right SCORE box.
8. Count all your large X marks and write your total corrections in the upper SQUARE box.
9. Write two words that are spelling problems for you.
10. Write clues that will help you spell these words.
11. Put this FORM 7 faced down and under your report.
12. This FORM 7 will be joined by FORM 11 when you have finished.
