  • Your notes are outlined and numbered.
  • They can now be be written into sentences and paragraphs.
  • You are now ready to follow your Topic Outline and write your report with your pencil or on your keyboard.
  • At this time prepare your pages.
  • If writing by hand, draw a margin line on the left side of each page.
  • In your title capitalize the first word, the last word, and all other words (except: prepositions and: a, an, the, but, or, and nor).
  • Print your title in the center of the top line of your first page. [If you are handwriting you report, slip FORM 9 under your title page paper.  The see-through letters will help you center your title.]  3.  
  • Beginning with page 2, print the page number in the upper-right corner of each page. [Page 1 has a title. It needs no number.]
